Atlanta, GA Race relations have never
been better in this country, especially among young men, says
Spelman College Black Studies Professor, Edward Biggs. "We
are now a country changed forever a single race united
through our common, shared experiences."
Its not terrorism or patriotism that is fueling this
newfound brotherhood between blacks and whites, says Biggs.
Its the notion that we can finally agree on something.
And that something is one fine piece of ebony tail named Halle
Berry.
According to Biggs, well-publicized rifts between the races
were magnetized over the years by disagreement over OJ Simpson,
Rodney King and bigotry in all levels of business and government.
That all ended when Halle Berry stepped into the limelight
and became the fantasy source of masturbating white and black
men alike.
Not since the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's has there
been such a dramatic shift in public attitudes about interracial
sex. Biggs refers to this phenomenon as The Halle Berry
Factor.
Sure, we might use different kinds of language to describe
her, Biggs said. Whitey might say something like
Fuckin A shes really hot, while
Blacks might refer to her as one sweet, sweet piece
of dark meat, but in the end, we both just want t o
have sex with her.
A series of polls initiated by the college showed a remarkable
decrease in black/white violence in areas displaying oversized
billboards of the actress, or stores selling bootleg videos
of spliced sex scenes.
"Its not really all that scientific. All you have
to do pass a Circuit City where Halle Berry is displayed on
65 big-screen television monitors and you can see the unity
among the men who stop and gawk" Biggs said. "Theres
no fighting or even discussion when that happens. Just a whole
lot of love.
